Product Overview
The RC2000 Whole-Body Alpha-Beta Contamination Monitor is designed for use in nuclear facilities, hospital nuclear medicine departments, nuclear medicine plants, radiological laboratories, and other locations exposed to radioactive contamination. It monitors all body parts (including hands, feet, and head) of personnel leaving controlled areas for radioactive contamination. When contamination exceeds permitted levels, the monitor issues an indication and alarm signal and prohibits the opening of exit gates, thereby preventing the contamination source from leaving the controlled area.
