Product Overview
The RC1000-G Whole-Body Gamma Contamination Monitor is designed for use in nuclear facilities, hospital nuclear medicine departments, nuclear medicine plants, radiological laboratories, and other locations exposed to radioactive contamination. It monitors radioactive contamination throughout the entire body (including hands, feet, and head) of personnel leaving controlled areas, providing real-time information on individual contamination status.
The system is equipped with multiple positioning sensors to standardize the position of the monitored personnel. Positioning corrections are provided via a display and voice prompts, along with measurement results. When contamination exceeds permitted levels, the monitor issues an indication and alarm signal, prohibiting the opening of exit gates to prevent contamination from leaving the controlled area.
